Savoy Ottoman Palace Hotel Review - 24 of 35 Reviews

I've just come back from a few days in Kyrenia, North Cyprus and feel so refreshed! I've had a stunning holiday, staying at a brilliant hotel. I chose the Savoy Ottoman Palace from the advice I was given by Mandy at GoNorthCyprus.com. It was really traditional and beautifully furnished, nothing ultra modern and bland here!

The Savoy Ottoman Palace was something a little bit different from your average tourist hotel. It was classy and well decorated, in-keeping with its Ottoman style. Even the bedrooms had unique furniture. Everything was very clean and the rooms were comfortable and well equipped.

The food at the hotel was very good and the variety of breakfast foods available was excellent! The hotel really seems to take attention to detail seriously. I also ate quite a few evening meals in the hotel restaurants and was never disappointed on taste or food quality. The only thing I did find was that the service was a little slow.

The Savoy Ottoman is located in the middle of Kyrenia, close to the harbour, which is also a plus point because everything is within walking distance, even historical buildings and sites (which was one of my reasons for choosing North Cyprus.)

The hotel has good facilities, although I'm not a fan of sitting around the pool. Saying that, for the number of rooms, I did think that the pool area looked quite small. I went to the casino once and had an enjoyable time.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a holiday which allows you to see the true traditions of North Cyprus. I hate tacky tourist sites and this was nothing like that!
