“A fantastic hotel with amazing views!”

My family have just returned from North Cyrpus, staying at the Salamis Bay Conti and had one of the best holidays ever! Our journey there was a little rough as we were delayed and ended up arriving late but this was immediately put aside as we reached the hotel. We were greeted by friendly staff who seemed to want to do their utmost to make us happy, which included preparing hot food even late at night, when we arrived. Throughout the holiday we were made to feel very welcome and they went out of their way to make us happy. It was clear that their agenda was to entertain and satisfy their guests.

On top of this, the hotel views and surroundings were amazing. It was so quiet and peaceful and the bay views were stunning. What's more, we felt very safe here. Being so far out, it would have been difficult to get to different places if we didn't have a car. It was a little daunting driving around somewhere unknown but once we got used to where we were it was quite easy to find the nearest town etc. In fact we ended up doing a lot of exploring.

The hotel rooms were furnished to a high standard and were very clean. We were pleased to have a minibar service too. In addition to this, the food was very good; a little unusual, but we thought that it was probably a combination of tradition and the owners wanting to get it right for their British guests (although they didn't quite manage to achieve what they were hoping.) Despite this, it was all well prepared and clean and although some dishes were not to our children's tastes, we were quite happy for them to eat here.

The hotel facilities were also very good- the kids loved the warm indoor pool which was thankfully never very busy! However, the icing on the cake really was the beauty of the area in which the hotel is situated. It definitely is a must for a second trip!
