“A great place to use as a base for exploring North Cyprus”
My wife and I stayed here with our kid (3 YO) in late January (In Cyprus to get away from a Russian winter and to look at some places to buy in North Cyprus), and found it better than anticipated from some of the reviews seen here. I would give it a fairly standard 4 stars.
It is fairly old, and has that sort of 80s feel in terms of room fittings, and the faint whiff of laxer smoking laws in days gone by. But we found the staff very helpful and responsive, and great with kids. The pools (indoor and outdoor) are great and the beach is straight out the door. We ate there for breakfasts, but not dinners, and found it the usual hotel style arrangement. Hot stuff, fruits and vegies, and cereals for whoever wanted it - in large quantities. One thing we did use was the massage service they have there - It was exceptionally good. It has just got wifi (for those doing work whilst on holidays) - which worked well after some teething issues.
Liked — relaxed pace, but with friendly service
Disliked — faint smell of smoking in some parts of hotel
