I've just returned from an early Easter break to Kyrenia and have come back feeling like a princess! My husband and I haven't been away for a few years and thought we'd take advantage of an off-peak deal. Gary booked it for us and said that because we were going a week before the school holidays, we'd saved a small fortune. We decided to spoil ourselves on a five star hotel and the Rocks is exactly that!

We had a deluxe room which was furnished luxuriously and was incredibly spacious. The hotel's attention to detail was excellent- the turn down service added that something extra. The bathroom was really gorgeous which in my experience, is somewhat of a rarity on the continent. The room was incredibly clean, as was the rest of the hotel.

The hotel facilities were brilliant! I particularly liked the beauty centre. In fact I think I treated myself a little too much! The hotel's food was excellent too, with plenty of choice. We only ate out on two out of the seven nights because we literally loved the hotel food. We were also really impressed with the late breakfast option which we took advantage of on two mornings!

We were really impressed with the hotel staff: they were helpful but incredibly professional so weren't in your face. The maid service was excellent as they were really polite and helpful when we asked for extra towels.

Kyrenia as a holiday destination was brilliant. The scenery was picturesque, with mountains in the backdrop and gorgeous sandy beaches. There were so many places to visit, both historically and scenically. I would snap up a chance to go back, although without saving for a few years, I doubt it would be possible as the Rocks Hotel wasn't exactly cheap!
