I am living for a year in Cyprus and normally do active holidays using hotels as just a sleeping location. My wife and I decided to have a totally different style of holiday where we would remain largely in the hotel and just read and tan ourselves. From our arrival the staff were very attentive, courteous and helpful. The pool area is excellent and we were looked after very well in an unobtrusive way. The room was pleasant, not a sea view, but the beds were comfortable and all relevant facilities were there including Wifi which we like for communicating with our family and friends. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice and we loved the real honeycomb. The evening meals were varied and interesting with an enormous selection. The salad selection would be hard to beat. There was a dress code for the evening which I thought was appropriate. I thought the prices of drinks etc, for a hotel, were reasonable and in fact was surprised at how little our extra eating and drinking totalled (I accept that this is all relevant to expectations). I did not feel that for drinking in the specific surroundings of the pool etc the prices were unreasonable. All in all we had a delightful 3 day Bank holiday weekend in May. It might be summed up by saying that 2 weeks later I find myself going there again for the end of May Bank Holiday weekend.
