This is a hotel review for Rocks Hotel in Kyrenia, North Cyprus
“Modern Hotel with good service”
I arrived for a week with my daughter and we were immediately impressed by the reception staff. They spoke reasonable English and were very pleasant and professional. The room they gave us smelled fusty/smoky so I immediately went back and they apologized and showed me another which was fine and with a gorgeous sea view, so I was very happy.
The access down to the beach was a big plus for us and we spent a lot of time walking and sunbathing. The pool area was very attractive with nice furniture and sun beds but it was not clean. I did not want to walk around the pool without shoes as my feet would have been filthy. But that is my only criticism. The food was great. Breakfasts were plentiful and omelettes were freshly cooked to order. Even though it was peak season, the rooms were very quiet. The hotel is also in a very good location close to the sea and the old harbour which is a very nice area after dark for eating.
Liked — Staff were great
Disliked — Not quite clean around the pool area
