We stayed for a week on 7 October. The hotel, its staff, gardens and 2 pools are great. The weather in October is lovely, high 20s and warm at night. Breakfast and dinner was out on the terrace - lovely and no insects, (but the odd cat!). The staff are young, enthusiastic, helpful, professional and good fun; they make the hotel. The rooms are good, however, unless you get a pool and gardens view, the views are not good, main road, sports pitch, car par, garage and the balconies are small. The location of the hotel is not that good, but it is only a short walk into old Kyrenia town with its lovely harbour and castle. The food was pretty good with a different menu every day with 3-4 selections. The entertainment was low key, which we like. Car hire was cheap £20 a day but there is not a lot to see along the coast really. Bellapais monastery and St Hilarion castle are close by and there are organised trips or you can take the local buses to Nicosia. Overall it was a great week's holiday, we went for the weather and to go somewhere different at a quiet time of year. We would definitely recommend the hotel for it's friendly staff, lovely gardens and pools and the proximity of Kyrenia itself.
