My boyfriend and I stayed at the Pia Bella Hotel for seven days. Our flight did not arrive until evening, yet we still found hotel staff to be available to check us in when we arrived. They also took us to the dining room where we obtained hot soup and sandwiches.

The staff was very knowledgeable about the area, offering us advice on what to do. Being young we wanted to get in as much as possible of the Kyrenia area. The staff even talked us into taking a ride to some of the surrounding areas. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The barman was very pleasing as well with many stories. We definitely could not find any fault with the staff or the hotel rooms.

The room we booked was lovely with the view over the pool. The room was cleaned every day, with new sheets and towels supplied. The room was large and comfortable. We could not find one fault with the cleanliness at all. The hotel even offered a currency exchange. The hotel had many guests for the May time period. There were several older couples, families, and couples our age. It was nice to have a variety of other travellers.

From the hotel we reached the harbour. The harbour though mainly populated by men was a lovely place to be. I found walking with my boyfriend enjoyable, and at no time did we feel uncomfortable. We must offer thanks to the staff for an enjoyable vacation we will not soon forget!

Liked — the rooms were very clean, with splendid views
Disliked — the public areas smelled of cigarette smoke
