This was our 3rd time to north cyprus,{love the place and people}we booked oscar on a BB basis as they do not do self catering any more,and it becomes clear why! they want you to buy their food and drink at over inflated prices,they will not allow you to bring food and drink into the complex.

we have two boys 11 and 13,we were paying 5TL for a can of coke, thats over 2 quid a can,and beer was 6TL for small bottle,A hot dog was 11TL,So the pool bar bill soon mounts up,and as they use a swipe card system to pay you tend not to keep track of what you are spending,don,t get me wrong you expect to pay a bit more on a complex like this,but this was OTT.

Having said that the nearby restaurants were very good and half the price,

The complex has 3 pools one with slides,a wave pool with bumper boats that were rubbish {old and not maintained}

A pool table with no balls,table tennis with no ball,

Maintenance is poor had to try 3 rooms before we could find one with air con that worked.

Can,t fault the breakfast,very good,the staff were very good,very helpfull,The maintenance man had a screw driver and a hammer and fixed eveything with these LOL!

North cyprus is a lovely place but is no longer a cheap holiday as it once was,evenso we will go back, but not to oscars,
