This is a hotel review for Malpas Hotel in Kyrenia, North Cyprus

“Cool hotel”

Stayed at the Malpas last September for a late holiday for me and my boyfriend. Had a sea view room which was fab, and we spent ages just sitting in the sunshine and drinking beers! Pool was big and empty when we were there; can't imagine it being too crowded even in summer. Drinks were expensive unless you had beer. Breakfast was great - loads to eat so you didn't need lunch. North Cyprus has lots to do, so long as you don't expect it to be 24/7 party like Aiya Napa or anything. We found some cool bars in Kyrenia, and had a fun day at the Acapulco Beach club. My boyfriend was persuaded to try paragliding from the mountains; he said he was glad he did it on an empty stomach!!! We tried our luck at the casino one night, but I didn't like it much, probably 'cos I lost... Only problem was that wifi connection didn't work properly, but we got a cable from reception instead and that worked fine.
