This is a hotel review for Malpas Hotel in Kyrenia, North Cyprus

“Special Deal value very good; Standard Rates way too expensive.”

Nice hotel though for me the rating would be closer to 3.5* rather than 5*. Food was very good, room was clean though a little tired - nothing spectacular. Casino is a little tacky, though it is not my thing anyway. Waiting staff very very good; reception staff not very friendly or helpful. We enquired about seeing their beach but were dismissed out of hand: "It is closed." We only wanted to see it! Drinks in the hotel were very expensive - hence we didn't drink there. Currency exchange rates were dreadful - real "rip-off" territory. Anything extra you were going to pay through the nose for.
