Korineum Golf Resort Hotel Review - 2 of 31 Reviews

An unexpected trip away this March gave me the opportunity to see for myself what all the fuss was about over the Korineum golf resort in North Cyprus. As a late booking I approached a travel booking company we go to at www.gonorthcyprus.com. I'd personally been recommended to stay here by somebody I know to be very picky about their holiday haunts, so here's what I thought..

- In terms of golfing, this is the most stunning course I've played on. It's views are pretty unbelievable and shows exactly why a course was built here!

- Although I can't comment on all rooms, ours was in a block with about 10. Very clean, very tidy, hygienic and with all the mod cons and a large bed (not sure exactly what size but larger than normal, so nothing to complain about at all.

- The food here was changeable. I found the breakfasts to be standard, which was surprising for a place like this, however the restaurants in the clubhouse were exquisite and not too highly priced either which was a nice change.

- For partners or families who aren't golfers, the free shuttle bus runs into the local town which by all accounts is a busy and interesting place.

So would I come back? Certainly. I would highlight that the Korineum Golf Resort (asthe name suggests) is very much based around golf, so if you're looking for somewhere to relax that's guaranteed to be quiet, this may not be the right choice for you.
