Korineum Golf Resort Hotel Review - 3 of 31 Reviews

Ironically I don't play golf so I can only offer an objective opinion on the hotel itself. My company booked this up when I was unexpectedly delayed on a business trip and needed somewhere to stay for 3 nights. The location and backdrop for this place is really good. You can clearly see mountains and the sea line, and from talking to actual golfers, it makes an amazing place to play too.

My room was fine. They are laid out in blocks of about 10-12 but aren't cramped at all. Theres lots of room inside and it was extremely fresh and clean upon my arrival. I felt quite comfortable here as the beds were hygienic too and sheets pressed. I had lots of hardwood furniture in the room I felt that thought had gone into designing this place. The style is modern and clean while staying quite neutral to suit everybody's taste. There was also free internet Wifi connection which was great for business travellers like me.

Maybe due to the time of year but there seemed to be too many visitors for the number of staff. The hotel wasn't crowded at all but rather the staffing levels were very low and it meant you often saw unhappy staff rushing around. This may have improved during summer seasons I hope. I ate in the hotel each day and night, with nothing to complain about. The evening food was much better standard than some of the other 5 star places I've stayed. It's a shame I'm not into golf as in think this place would have been great for those who appreciate the game.
