Korineum Golf Resort Hotel Review - 1 of 31 Reviews

I'm a little apprehensive to write this review and for a good reason. This is the second time we've been lucky enough to find time in the new year to escape to Northern Cyprus for a break after the Christmas chaos and the first time it was superb. There wasn't a thing we could fault. As we had such a great time I managed to convince my wife to come back to the same hotel again. And that's where it all took a turn for the worse!

Upon booking in we were dealt with rather abruptly, without any pleasantries. The room was similar to our last visit ie very good and very comfortable. We'd asked for a sea view and although the hotel had said they would allocate us one that does have a view, we in fact didn't. I can only assume that was down to a lot of other bookings maybe.

Then we booked a round of golf as the course, we have to admit, is excellent and has crazily impressive views. That said, we met a few of the 'local' golfers and they were less than pleasant. It was clear they did not want us on the course while they were there. Hopefully it was just a bad day. I hate to say anything negative as we had such a great time before, but I'm afraid we can't say we had a good time.

Disliked — blunt, dull and rude staff
