Korineum Golf Resort Hotel Review - 14 of 31 Reviews

I booked a week's stay to North Cyprus for myself and a few colleagues. We're all keen golfers and fancied a bit of Autumn sunshine whilst playing lots of golf. I found the stay at GoNorthCyprus.com and spoke to Gary who advised that the Korineum Golf Resort would be perfect for our requirements.

We have all returned desperate to go back to the resort. We found the hotel to be very good overall with really well sized rooms, equipped with all the facilities you'd expect from a hotel room. All of us had a sea view which was a bonus because the sunsets over North Cyprus were amazing.

We stayed at the hotel on a half board basis. Dinner was a buffet set-up which doesn't appeal to everyone but it suited our needs perfectly. We could choose exactly what we wanted and didn't have to wait for our food after a tiring day playing golf. The only negative to the restaurant was that the waiting staff were very slow in bringing us drinks. I think we were half way through our main course one night when they finally arrived.

The real highlight for us though was the golf course. It was kept in an excellent condition and had a really interesting terrain- lots of hills and dips. This would probably mean that for some, the course is a little challenging physically but you can hire golf buggies if you wish. We had several lunches in the club house and were pleased with the variety on offer.

The hotel's other facilities were adequate but nothing too impressive. Although we didn't use the hotel pool, we did observe that it was fairly small for the size of the hotel. The hotel's beach probably looks better in the summer but we thought it was quite stony compared to others in the area.

I would definitely recommend the Korineum Golf Resort to anyone looking for a quality golfing holiday in a place that has something different to offer. However, I'm not sure the hotel is ideal for your average family as some areas need to be improved.
