Korineum Golf Resort Hotel Review - 13 of 31 Reviews

A couple of days ago, we returned from our stay at this hotel. We had a good time, however we also think that there are some things that the hotel could do in order to improve the experience for the guests who book in there.

One great point to make would be able to room. It was huge; easily the biggest one that I have ever stayed in (and I stay in a lot of hotels). Everything that was provided for the bathroom was great, and this aspect of the holiday definitely lived up to the five star rated that the hotel has been awarded.

If you want to make a cup of tea at night, then you will have to bring everything that you need for this, as there is nothing provided in the rooms in this respect. The dining doesn't really live up to the rating as much as the rooms, and it feels as though you're in a café rather than a restaurant. That said, the food is good and there is a decent choice. The staff sometimes come across as a bit lacklustre, and this could be improved.

It is worrying that there do not seem to be staff around the pool a lot of the time. This means that there can be build ups of rubbish around the place as guests don't tidy after themselves, and this makes it a bit of negative environment. Also, the number of sun beds is not high enough for the amount of people who wish to use the area.

One thing that I would praise, however, are the cleaning staff. While I was there, I got a smile every time I walked past a member of the team, which is more than can be said for the other staff and management. I would recommend the hotel, however there are certainly things that could be improved.
