Korineum Golf Resort Hotel Review - 15 of 31 Reviews

I've come back from a social holiday with some golfing friends feeling refreshed and like I've had a really good week of golf. The Korineum Golf Resort Hotel does exactly what it says on the tin- offers great golf and in a lovely area. It's definitely nicer playing in warm weather without an umbrella!

The golf at the Korineum offered us a challenge, on a well presented green. The contour changed a lot over the course and a lot of it was uphill but we liked this. The course is surrounded by quite a lot of thorn bushes which could pose a problem to those prone to losing a ball or two.

My friends and I spoiled ourselves and chose to stay in the hotel's elite rooms which were really spacious and comfortable. We all booked through GoNorthCyprus.com and the agents got us a fantastic deal on a half board basis.

As we stayed at the hotel on a half board basis, we sampled a lot of its food! Breakfast had an excellent selection and everything was really fresh. The evening meal was buffet style which might be off-putting to some but was great for us because we came in every evening starving and really didn't want to have to wait! They had an extensive cold buffet and then hot choices. These were a little disappointing as they didn't vary much from night to night, plus the hot buffet lacked a variety of meat. The dessert selection, however, was excellent!

The staff at the Korineum Golf are really friendly and helpful and overall we felt very relaxed and happy at the hotel. We all said that we'd come again for the golf but I don't think the hotel would appeal to people looking for a family holiday.
