Jasmine Court Hotel Review - 7 of 18 Reviews

My husband decided Kyrenia was to be the destination of our week long family holiday and I took a look online at the Jasmin Court Hotel. A few reviews read that the hotel was an equivalent of 4-5 star hotel here, so it looked pretty promising, well to begin with anyhow. We were taking 2 small children and it looked a suitable place for them to stay too.

We've visited a few places in the world with 5 star hotels but im very disappointed to say this is certainly not a 5 star hotel in any sort of way! It certainly was a rude awakening and not a great start to our family holiday. Our room was quite large, thats a plus, but it was in a very poor state and didnt look like i imagined. The website said they had refurbished rooms in the Jasmin, but ours certainly were not!

We got to know another couple in a similar situation to ours. They were also disapointed in the hotel and felt they were mis-sold as the childrens entertainment wasnt as advertised either. This isnt a great way to run a hotel and I expect the Jasim would be absolutely destroying their reputation (if it ever existed in the first place!).

Despite booking a sea view we had to leave the hotel to actually see it! Our room was located in the center of the hotel and the only view we had was of a part of a carpark. I complained fervently despite being told there were no more rooms available to move to, and eventually we were moved to a room with a pool view but still without a coastal sea view. Despite this, the food in the hotel was a good quality and it was a hygenic looking restaurant. However it was truly overpriced for an experience like this. My advice would be not to visit until some major refurbishment work had been undertaken and the hotel staffs attitude changed too.
