This is a hotel review for Dome Hotel in Kyrenia, North Cyprus

“The Dome.. Not the best Hotel for us”

We went on holiday to Kyrenia, and decided to visit some of the other hotels just out of curiosity. We have stayed at the Dome before, but that was many years ago and back then we were not very impressed, and unfortunately it doesn't look as if much has changed. In fact, it has got worse.

The Dome is located on the sea front close to the old harbour; there have been many changes to the hotel but not for the better I'm afraid. The outside of the hotel looks like a dirty old factory on an industrial estate. The only thing I can't complain about is the staff, they are very helpful and friendly, you are always greeted with a smile.

The inside appearance is still very shabby looking, the main restaurant doesn't look that bad, but I wouldn't eat there again, the last time we didn't have a very good experience with the food. It is disappointing to see the Dome hotel in such a state; I am surprised it hasn't been closed down by now. It is one of the oldest hotels in the area; it really should have more money invested into it.

I am sorry Dome, but I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here, there are just too many negatives.
