Dome Hotel Review - 24 of 93 Reviews

My family and I tend to travel abroad for our holidays as often as possible as both my husband and I have decent jobs and want our children to see as much of the world as possible, so we very rarely go to the same place twice, let alone twice in two years! I'd done some on-line research and have to say that the resort sounded great, probably a little bit too good actually so I was a bit nervous that I had hopes that were unrealistic, however on both occasions we were treated to the same fantastic service, excellent surroundings and a very clean and tidy interior to the rooms we had. The room in our second stay was much larger than the previous time we visited but that is probably due to the time of year. This time we travelled in the winter whereas before it was the height of the summer.

I did discuss the stay with some other guests from the UK who we got to know very well on our holiday and they had also returned for the second time in only a few years. Some visitors may consider the hotel to be a bit dated in its décor and layout, but personally I feel this is part of the attracting characteristics of this place. Being located on a peninsula its very easy and accessible to get down to the beach for a dip in the sea. The kids really love playing in the water and as parents we're comfortable here as the water is clean and the beaches are well looked after too. As for the hotel food, we used the half board option the first time round but this time we decided full board was more convenient having two children with us. The food was just what you'd expect from this type of resort, breakfast and lunch buffet with a hot selection on the evening. Drink prices weren't exactly cheap but nothing to complain over either. We'd certainly recommend the Dome and will more than likely return for a third time at some point!
