Club Simena Review - 2 of 40 Reviews
This is a hotel review for Club Simena in Kyrenia, North Cyprus
“A great choice, we'll be back!”
For those of you looking for a quieter atmosphere during your stay in Northern Cyprus, the Club Simena Hotel is not to be overlooked. Whilst still only fifteen minutes away from the bustling city centre of Kyrenia, our hotel was excellent, with friendly service that allowed us to sample some of the famous Cypriot hospitality.
The hotel is located well for anyone wanting to visit local historical monuments such as the Castle of Girne (a castle which has survived since the middle ages, and dates back to at least before the 7th century) or Bellapais Abbey, which is largely regarded as the most beautiful gothic architecture in the East. There are many such monuments dotted around Northern Cyprus and we had a fabulous time searching them out.
Inside the hotel, we found a huge array of food prepared freshly each day and enough activities to occupy our children for the length of our stay, but if you feel like some alone time then hanging around the Club Simena Hotel gardens for some peace and tranquillity is an option. Other facilities on-site include a gym, spa, mini-golf course and a gigantic swimming pool bedecked with parasols and palm trees.
So, unless you're looking for a party atmosphere (in which case, go to Ayia Napa) there is very little that you can't find in and around the Club Simena Hotel. Also if you don't fancy finding it for yourself, we found the hotel's staff were extremely friendly and will be more than happy to suggest visits for us.
