Bare Hill Holiday Village in North Cyprus is one of those places that you dream of going on your honeymoon – it's quiet, romantic, and the scenery is breathtakingly beautiful!

Bare Hill offered us bungalows instead of rooms, which was perfect for maintaining privacy. The bungalows are large, airy, and comfortably furnished. The village grounds are beautifully landscaped with lots of exotic plants and flowers, including several fruit trees bursting with fragrant fruit in the summer months. Nearby, several beaches offer relaxed sunbathing, coupled with incredible views of the shimmering, crystal blue mediterranean waters. Most of the area around Bare Hill remains unspoiled, offering breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding area which is exactly what my partner and I wanted from Northern Cyprus

A short distance from Bare Hill Holiday Village is a village called Alsancak. It's small, quaint, and offers local cuisine as well as traditional shopping. There's a couple of mini-markets that offer supplies for out-of-towners, with everything from band-aids to refreshments. The numerous restaurants in town offered us plenty of dining options, although if you're looking for traditional American food, you won't find it here. The authentic atmosphere and local shops in the village give one the impression that Alsancak Village has remained untouched by time.

In spite of the large, comfortable bungalows and exotic locale, Bare Hill Holiday Village is inexpensive by most standards in North Cyprus. If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing place to spend a long weekend or just a romantic holiday with your significant other, Bare Hill Holiday Village is the perfect choice in our opinion.
