Altinkaya Holiday Village Review - 8 of 50 Reviews

The Altinkaya has a range of accommodations available; you can chose from a bungalow, a villa or a single hotel room. I chose a single room, and I was very impressed with it. The price you pay will depend on the type of accommodation that you chose, and a room is the cheapest option. But it was very good value for money in Northern Cyprus. The room was clean, tidy and very comfortable which I was not expecting because I had read a lot of negative reviews about this type of room.

My stay came with breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast was the best with a nice selection of foods to choose from, lunch was also very good. Dinner was reasonable but nothing spectacular. There was an indoor and outdoor pool, which I didn't go in because it was too cold. I went to North Cyprus during the winter, but I am sure it is nice and warm during the summer. The indoor pool was nice, but sometimes I didn't get in because it wasn't clean enough. They also had a nice small sauna.

I love North Cyprus; it has some of the most spectacular scenery that I have ever seen on holiday. I really enjoyed sightseeing. I travelled to many different cities and don't have a bad word to say about any of them apart from Old Lapata, which was very nice, but for some reason it was also extremely dirty with a lot of rubbish in the streets. All in all I had a fantastic time, and I would recommend it to anyone, and especially if you are travelling on a budget.
