Altinkaya Holiday Village Review - 28 of 50 Reviews

We booked the Altinkaya resort via Go North Cyprus. We were happy that we did so as it has a lot of positive things going for it including the location, customer service, guest amenities and of course, happy staff! As part of a larger group I'll only comment on my personal experience of the resort which I stayed at during the summer for 2 weeks whilst we were travelling around and touring the area. We (our group) spent most meal times in the hotel and as such, can say that the breakfast is an open buffet every day, but it is fresh and there's lots of food so no worries on the breakfast front. There is a lovely are where you can be lazy by the pools and a great poolside bar is convenient for drinks. It's staffed all day long and most guests seem to really enjoy it. Location wise the Altinkaya holiday resort is located in a nice and peaceful area, not too close but not too far from town. Taxi's are easy to get hold of if you do fancy eating out or having a little explore. There's also a choice of accommodation types but we stayed in the hotel here which was clean and airy. Our room was serviced daily and the sheets and towels were very clean and looked after. This is always a big thing when you're holidaying abroad so it was a relief to feel confident about how clean and hygienic the hotel was. I'd suggest the hotel was about 75% full but even when it seemed busy, staff were helpful and happy, which goes that little bit further when making guests feel comfortable. Great choice for families.
