Vouni Palace Hotel Review - 12 of 22 Reviews

My wife and I booked a week's stay half board at the Vouni Palace through Go North Cyprus. Mandy was very helpful in finding somewhere to suit our needs and the hotel did in most cases. The hotel itself was perfect in terms of facilities and space. The staff were also really friendly but the location was lacking a bit. The hotel was set quite far back in the old part of the town. The rest of the buildings looked poor and run down. This didn't make a huge difference to our holiday but it didn't give us a great first impression.

Location, aside, the hotel did have everything we needed. Our room was really spacious (something which seems a luxury on holidays abroad these days.) It was very clean and well kept. The furniture was a little old but still in a good state of repair. The air conditioning worked really well!

The swimming pool area in the hotel was really excellent and it was obvious that the hotel had recently purchased new equipment, especially sun loungers. It says something when a hotel is committed to making changes because it shows that they care about their customers. We felt that the staff were really attentive and helpful throughout our stay.

Staying half board was a really good choice for us because there weren't many decent restaurants around. The food at the Vouni Palace Hotel was tasty and plentiful. It wasn't find dining but it was relatively good value for money and we didn't really have any complaints about it.

Overall we had a very enjoyable holiday and don't really have anything negative to say about the Vouni Palace. I just think that if we were to visit North Cyprus again, we'd probably find a hotel which was closer to the amenities- especially cafés and restaurants.
