We went on a holiday with another couple, and we thought that the newer Vouni Palace Hotel would be a great choice. It was not a five star hotel as the travel agent told us it would be. The rooms were adequate with a lovely poolside area. We spent a considerable amount of time there. Both couples did the B & B option and the breakfast was tasty enough. That is the only meal we ate there, however, as the prices are terribly high. One went out for food and drinks because it was a rip off to pay the hotel's prices. You can walk about fifteen or so minutes to a couple of restaurants that are much more reasonable. There was a smell of sewage about at times and this was most unpleasant. Thankfully it didn't usually linger too long. The staff may not have had much English. They certainly did not communicate with us very often, even when asked a question. I don't know if the hotel being relatively new had anything to do with it, but billing issues arise quite often. If you sign for something be sure to keep a receipt. While it wasn't a horrible experience, both couples decided it wouldn't be a place that we wanted to visit again. The nightlife is pretty nonexistent, even for us older folk. Doubt we will go back or recommend this hotel to others.
