Villa Club Holiday Village Review - 4 of 19 Reviews

My wife and I have somewhat of an obsession with North Cyprus and have stayed in quite a few of its hotels but over the last few years we have kept coming back to the Villa Club Holiday Village. Having just returned from our most recent visit, we have already decided we are going back again next year.

The best thing about the Villa Club is that even in the height of the season it doesn't seem busy or crowded. Even when the weather's fantastic, the pool area isn't squashed with sun loungers. For anyone looking for a peaceful holiday, somewhere set out of the way, the Villa Club is the perfect place.

The hotel is owned and run by a wonderfully friendly couple- Alison and Mustafa who treat their guests almost like friends. We've spent many a night staying up chatting to them at the bar. Nothing is too much trouble for them either: they are always keen to recommend great places to visit and have even sorted out hire cars for us in the past.

We've stayed in probably most of the villas at the Villa Club and they are all decorated and furnished to a high standard. I know that the owners are planning to have them all refurbished but I have no complaints about how they are already! We like the size of the private villas because they are lot more spacious than hotel rooms- almost like self-catering apartments but without having to make your own breakfast!
