“Cheap and cheery”
The Sofia Hotel, as the name suggests, is a pretty old building with old world charm. Traditional old furniture completes the overall atmosphere of years gone by and I really liked the antiquated style, although I can appreciate it isn't to everyone's tastes. The setting is perfect, just a few minutes away from the harbour and the shops, and you can get a bus very close by that takes you to the beach in about 20 minutes really cheaply. I found the staff at the hotel very hospitable and helpful and enjoyed the pool in the courtyard too. The hotel was perfectly adequate for my needs, a bed for the night for a few days and a simple breakfast each morning in a brilliant location.
