My family and I went to Sammy's Hotel for three nights whilst visiting family in Cyprus. We found the place to be very reasonably priced and comfortably (if not spectacularly) provisioned. The air conditioning was a particularly welcome addition as it had been swelteringly hot during our stay, and it worked perfectly throughout the day and night.

Breakfast, which we ate at the hotel, is served from 0800 to 1100 and is relatively good for the price. The food ran out on one of the mornings, but staff were only too happy to make more for anyone who came to breakfast late. The food was of an average, but acceptable standard.

Our favourite thing about the hotel was the swimming pool and sun lounger area. We were pretty much the only people making use of these facilities, which was great for the family because we had originally worried that the swimming pool wouldn't have room for us.

There is a 20-25 minute walk into the town centre, which we made every night to seek evening entertainment (readily available) and this made a nice contrast with the relaxing, quiet place where we spent our days. Overall, I think you would struggle badly to find a more relaxing and less busy place for the kind of money we paid. I will be recommending it to anyone who might be visiting Cyprus in the near future.
