Salamis Bay Conti Hotel Review - 3 of 44 Reviews

My wife and I have recently got back from North Cyprus- we stayed at the Salamis Bay Conti Hotel and had a fantastic holiday. What really pleased us was how the area wasn't very anglicised, it was more authentic, as was the hotel. We were looking to go away and just relax and that is exactly what we did.

The hotel was comfortable, clean and the staff were friendly. Not all staff were fluent in English but we really liked this because we actually felt like we were abroad! The hotel had plenty of facilities including two pools and various other sports facilities. We made good use of the tennis courts, however we spent most of the time on the gorgeous surrounding beaches.

The local area was quiet. There were a few bars and restaurants nearby and we did take full advantage of this, however had we been full board we would have been equally as content as the restaurants supplied good quality food with menus which contained local dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed looking around the sites and visiting the local churches and ruins.

My wife and I would recommend the Salamis Bay to couples or families looking to get away and relax. It would also appeal to those looking to have a real experience of what Cyprus is actually like. Although if you are looking for something a little more lively, the hotel is huge with loads of bars so I guess there is something for everyone.
