we booked this up on the off chance and it was excellent. the accommodation was lovely in the new hotel block, the staff very helpful and friendly, the food excellent and how nice to have a breakfast cooked and not a buffet !!

Not being a strong swimmer I was a little disappointed that the shallow end of the pool nearest the terrace just came up to my knees and then went very deep and the big pool - which I think is the new one - is the same depth all over and when I was on the bottom step the water was at my chin which meant that I didnt feel confident enough to swim. However, I still went in the water and just held on and it didnt spoil our holiday in the slightest. Just that it may be not so good for people with children who are very young or, like me, not yet swimming well.

Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
