We had a thoroughly enjoyable time at the Rocks Hotel. We were on a B&B board basis for 10 days. The breakfasts were lovely with something to suit all tastes. They don't have bacon but that didn't really matter. Their own strawberry jam is full of strawberries and delicious. The pool area is fantastic with an extensive range of very comfortable furniture but is not too busy. Being on the seafront it really is a wonderful location. There are lots of places to eat in the evening. Niazi's is probably the most well known. They do mezes and have a very extensive menu to suit everyone. Their other restaurant across the road is called the Lagoon which is a fish only restaurant but both were equally as good. We also went to the Verandah Hotel which is quite well known in Kyrenia and that is very good. Also Bellapais Monastry Restaurant is also very good but they do extremely large portions so just have a starter or a main course, not both. We also went to Ambience Restaurant which was in a fabulous location on the seafront and the tables are outside with the sea lapping gently whilst you eat. It's quite expensive but very romantic. Don't eat around Kyrenia Harbour. The food is very average and it is worth getting a taxi and going a bit further out if you want something better. Ask for recommendations. We missed not having coffee/tea making facilities in our room at the Rocks but you can always go and have a coffee and a brandy down at the harbour.
