I was not impressed with the Rocks hotel at all. When you first walk in, the place looks like a palace, then when you get to the rooms! SHOCK HORROR! Absolutely horrendous. We only stayed for one night and then moved on because it was that bad. I don't even know where to start with how bad it was, well my first bit of advice is not to take your shoes off. The floor was full of stains, all the walls were damp and it had spread down the walls so the wall paper was mouldy, I forgot to mention the stench! I am really shocked that the owners have the audacity to actually rent these rooms out! We had asked for a non smoking room, but it smelt like a tobacco factory. We made the mistake of paying for an all inclusive, so we ate at the hotel. I was with my girlfriend and we both ended up extremely sick for days. The hotel staff were not interested in our complaints which is one of the main reasons we left. The way we were treated was really shocking. I would not under any circumstances recommend that anyone ever stay at this hotel! Not unless you want to sleep in a damp infested room and end up with food poisoning! Really ruined our first visit to North Cyprus.
