Riverside Holiday Village Review - 6 of 30 Reviews

The Riverside Holiday Village is good for anyone looking for a villa-style holiday but without the hassle! The Riverside has blocks of apartments and some villas, all low rise, so you have your own space, but you also have full use of the facilities such as the swimming pool, etc.

Our newly renovated villa was clean, airy and we heard very little noise from our neighbours. The air conditioning worked very well (with no extra charges), and the maid came in every day to clean and give us new towels, whether we needed them or not!

The few kids still on holiday when we went (mid September) loved the flume pool, so we spent most our time at the other pool, which was much quieter!

We hadn't realised when we booked just how far out of Kyrenia the Riverside was, but actually think this was a good thing as you heard no traffic noise, etc.

You can walk to local restaurants from the complex, and the prices are OK compared with Britain. There are two supermarkets within walking distance so you could buy things to cook if you wanted to (we didn't cook much). You need to catch the Riverside's shuttle bus to get to any beaches or into Kyrenia if you did not have a hire car, but this is free.
