Riverside Holiday Village Review - 16 of 30 Reviews

I've been holidaying in Cyprus for about ten years now and for the past four my family and I have always adopted the Riverside as our default holiday accommodation. We discovered it by chance a few years ago and loved it so much we have simply not bothered to look for anywhere else since! We only get the time to go once a year and it's not always even in the nice summer weather, but we always try to get a break in at some point.

This year due to changing jobs just before Christmas, our trip over was at the beginning of February and whilst the weather wasn't amazing, we still had a really enjoyable time thanks to the Riverside Hotel. This time round we stayed in an apartment room which was conveniently located within easy reach of everything. The décor was fairly plain and standard as you might expect but it was clean, comfortable and certainly met our needs well. We've always opted to eat in the hotel facilities and continued to do so this time.

The food at the Riverside is, in our opinion, really good and presented in a very hygienic and clean environment. It's not the normal sort of mass produced breakfast designed to get people in and out, it actually tastes as good as it looks. As a family we spend a lot of time exploring the local sights as we enjoy being outdoors, so a lack of blazing sunshine doesn't always ruin our holidays.

February was the earliest time of the year we've ever visited, but it was still fantastic and we couldn't have asked for more. There was a great mix of people in the hotel, families, couples, the elderly. This means the hotel is really suitable for all purposes and we'd highly recommend the Riverside Holiday Village if you're staying in Kyrenia.
