Riverside Holiday Village Review - 12 of 30 Reviews

My family and I have stayed at Riverside holiday village a number of times over the years and we always enjoy it. Not once have we had any bad experiences, yet I read some not-so-nice reviews recently and decided to add my own review to balance it out somewhat. The last visit there was several months ago, but we've booked three weeks there again coming up soon. I expect it to be as great as it always is. In our opinion, one of the best in northern cyprus.

Riverside holiday village is a lovely older hotel in a rural setting and if you are looking for lots of nightlife, it probably isn't the place for you; however if you want peace, tranquility and relaxation, it's an ideal retreat. You can still go to bars and restaurants if you stay here, but it's a little out of the way to get to those places, although taxi service is very cheap in this area and you can always rent a car, of course to see the north cyprus scenery. A taxi is the way to go if you plan on drinking, naturally.

The riverside holiday village staff are very helpful and has always provided us with great service in the past. They really do go out of their way to make sure we have an enjoyable stay every time we come here and are always ready and willing to help with acquiring a taxi, directions, or anything else you need.

The rooms are old and in need of some upgrading, this is true. However, if you want plush rooms, try one of the more modern places. This hotel has been around for years, so naturally the rooms are old and not very modern. I've always found our rooms to be exceptionally clean, however, and the housekeeping staff does a great job keeping them clean throughout our stay. Our air conditioner always works, the rooms are huge, and the pools have plenty of room. We always stay here when we come to North Cyprus and probably will for a number of years to come.
