Riverside Holiday Village Review - 10 of 30 Reviews

The Riverside Holiday Village was the perfect holiday. When we booked, we were relatively happy with the price but didn't expect the value for money which we actually received in North Cyprus. The Riverside holiday village itself was beautiful; set in lush grounds with stunning gardens. The village was quite a way out from the local villages but luckily there was an adequate bus serve to take you anywhere you wanted to go. This may sound like a bit of a pain, but I really believe that when you stand in the beautiful grounds of the village, it makes it all worth it. We did hear people complaining that their balconies didn't get much sun, but fortunately for us this was not the case.

The rooms were fairly basic, but like I said, we didn't expect a palace. They were well kitted out and were kept very clean. This was reflected across the whole of the hotel. The cleaning staff were very efficient and everything was replenished as quickly as possible. Although we booked bed and breakfast, we did visit the village restaurant on a couple of occasions so that the kids didn't have too many late nights. We were really impressed with the choice and the quality of the food. In addition, the food was a mix of traditional and more basic dishes so it catered for all tastes and ages!

We would visit the Riverside Holiday Village or North Cyprus again given the opportunity. It was a thoroughly relaxing and special holiday.
