We stayed at the Hotel Pia Bella recently and I was immediately impressed. We'd arrived late at night after a long flight to north cyprus and both my husband and I were exhausted, but realizing we had arrived after the dining room was closed, expected that we would have to find a restaurant still open in order to get something to eat. Immediately after checking in, we were asked if we were hungry and were shown to the dining room, where we were served a late supper and given a complimentary beverage. What service! While we were eating, our suitcases were taken to our room ahead of us. Upon completion of our meal, we were shown to our room and given instructions on how to operate the safe. The employee who showed us our room left only after making sure we had everything we needed.

Our room was exceptionally large and nicely furnished, as well as spotless. There were no traces of mildew or mold in the bathroom, which I find to be the exception rather than the rule in most hotels. We did upgrade to a superior room, which offered us an awesome view of the North Cyprus mountains.

The food was great here, as well as plentiful, and I was never bored with the selections. The service was exceptional. Considering how busy the waiters were at the Pia Bella, I'm surprised everything was so perfect, but in fact it was quite a pleasant surprise to find that not only were the dishes always hot and prepared well, the waiters actually took time to converse with us for a few minutes and still managed to give everyone great service. During our meals, a customer relations lady checked in on the diners and made sure everything was okay with our food, rooms and the service of the employees. I was quite impressed with the professionalism of this hotel and the fact that they seem to go above and beyond to provide excellent service.

The hotel grounds are well manicured also, and it is a pleasure to walk around, as they have tons of flowers in well-maintained flower beds. There are 2 good-sized pools, as this is a large hotel. It's very peaceful and tranquil here. We absolutely will be staying here again the next time we come to North Cyprus on vacation.
