Pia Bella Hotel Kyrenia North Cyprus

This is a hotel review for Pia Bella Hotel in Kyrenia, North Cyprus

“No heart to the hotel for winter stay”

We booked in for three nights at the end of January for our 40th wedding anniversary. We had a free upgrade to a deluxe room but were told on arrival that these rooms were twin bedded, the only double bed room overlooked a run down garage so we agrreed to have two beds pushed together, not ideal. Our room was not overly warm during cool nights and we had to ring down to request a hot water supply. The food was OK considering what we paid. The saddest part of a winter stay at the Pia Bella is that it has no heart to it.The dark unheated gloomy bar at the end of the massive dining room, is a really uncomfortable experience and not a place where you could relax for a pre, or after dinner drink. You can see that in the summer months when all is open to the outside, and the central outside bar is open, warm and buzzing, that the hotel has a heart. Sadly in the winter months no thought has been given to providing a comfortable heart.
