“New Year 2011 very average”

Nice hotel though for me the rating would be closer to 3* rather than 4*. Our drive to the hotel was a bit of a nightmare as the directions were wrong. It took us about two hours to get there. We got a room with two single beds instead of a double bed, which was disappointing, especially for a couple booking. Room Bar fridge very expensive for a 4*. Room was clean but a little tired - nothing spectacular. We had a good view of the mountains though which was nice. Location of hotel to city centre, convenient. Food was average, Waiting staff very good and very friendly; reception staff friendly and helpful. Overall it was a nice stay but to be honest, we would rather have stayed at our first choice – the Malpas hotel
