Pia Bella Hotel Review - 19 of 149 Reviews

My husband and I stayed at the Pia Bella outside of the peak season in November and were very impressed. As the weather wasn't always burning sunshine, we needed to spend more time in the hotel and were very happy to do so! It was so comfortable, particularly the wooden flooring which proved much warmer than the traditional tiling you find in mediterranean countries. The only disappointment we had with the room was the fact that it had a faint smell of smoke, however when we complained, the hotel were very accommodating and allowed us to move. I guess if it had been the busy summer season this may not have happened.

During the day we were lucky to have temperatures around 20c so made the most of the pool areas. Also, we were surprised and delighted at the fact that we were allowed to pick satsumas from the overhanging trees! Although the weather was considerably better than in the UK, the nights still drew in so we spent a lot of time in the lounge/bar areas of the hotel. We always felt like we were entertained and were happy to chat to other holiday makers, many of whom had returned to the Pia Bella several times and were very satisfied. We were also very content with spending time in the restaurant area as the food was very good.

The facilities in the hotel were excellent but we were a little disappointed in the fact that the inside pool area and fitness suite was unavailable. We were very impressed that the hotel organised car hire for us. We hadn't proposed to do this initially but when we arrived we thought it might be fun to get out and about. We had a few issues with sorting out how to re-fuel (the hotel didn't explain this to us) but once we sorted that out we were very happy, especially because in Cyprus they drive on the same side of the road as us!

To conclude, considering the price we paid, my husband and I were very impressed with the Pia Bella, we had a thoroughly comfortable and enjoyable stay.
