My fiancée and I stayed at the Pia Bella at the beginning of this month and had an amazing time. We decided to upgrade to a superior room as we were promised better views and more space. We definitely got what we were promised, and more. The room was more like a suite and the mountain views were stunning!

We found the hotel to be in very good condition and it was exceptionally clean. It was fairly minimal in terms of décor but we felt that it added to how pristine it was. The cleanliness of the hotel also contributed to our trust in the hotel's restaurant (we're a little wary of eating abroad). It offered a fair variety of tasty food including traditional dishes, as well as catering for the more simple tastes (I was still able to cling on to my home comforts whilst my fiancée was delighted at being able to try local delicacies.) We really enjoyed relaxing in the bar after our meals too; the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive and made it a very relaxing place to be.

Although the leisure facilities on offer at the hotel were limited, we were very impressed with the hotel pools. We were particularly pleased that there was separate space for children to play in and even more delighted at finding a Jacuzzi.
