we arrived late on a Friday and the staff had kept us our dinner, as we were half board. we were impressed by that.

quite welcoming staff on reception, though the porter was a bit odd.

the room was fairly old fashioned, and in need of renovation. the bathroom had poorly applied grout around the top of the tiles. the balcony was lovely. the beds were uncomfortable, hard yet unsupportive. the air con was not very efficient.

the view from the room was beautiful, swimming pool and gardens, palm trees all with a backdrop of the mountains.

the food was good, breakfast you could request omelettes and eggs to order fresh. freshly squeezed orange juice cost extra, the coffee was not great.

the dinner was good and very varied with lots of choice, but as with all half board food, always seemed a bit the same, even though it was varied. some lovely fresh dips and a lovely firey mint sauce.

the staff were all friendly and fun and there was usually entertainment. the disco on the saturday night was good fun. there was a singer on the Sunday night who went on a bit late though.

saying that the average age of the hotel clientele was approx. 60 years. but all very polite and friendly people.

the pool was well kept, and nice and cold. good location you can walk into the centre of Kyrenia in 15 minutes.

the rooms were cleaned, but did not seem as clean as they could be.
