We took our holiday in TRNC for a week in the sun before the school rush, as we have two girls under the age of 5. Couldn't believe it when we got upgraded to a suite, and it did give us all extra space. Very clean too.

Buffet style dinner was useful as it meant the girls could pick their own food (with help) and I think they actually ate more as a result. (The younger one is normally fussy.) Staff were very kind to the girls, always happy to help if they could and genuinely delighted to see them enjoying themselves.

The hotel has three swimming pools, including a wave pool which the kids thought was amazing. By the end of the week they had graduated into the big pool (with dad nearby) which luckily was not busy. They also loved just running around the gardens, and taking the shuttle bus into Kyrenia to go 'shopping' (with us of course!). The beach near the hotel was non-existant, really just access to the sea and none too clean, but with the three pools we did not need to use it.

There are two or three restaurants within an easy walk, although we were glad we had brought a torch for the return journey at night. Girls enjoyed the pizzaria and we had ice-creams from Mardos a couple of times as a treat - it did get very lot.

The occasional Turkish hotel entertainment was probably great for the Turkish guests, but not for the rest of us!
