This is a hotel review for Oscar Resort Hotel in Kyrenia, North Cyprus
“Great child-friendly resort”
We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in North Cyprus. I was worried about taking a 4-year old but he loved it and there was so much for us all to do. The Oscar Resort is huge and has the best facilities. It has the only wave pool in North Cyprus, and my son loved the toy train. We went down on the beach until it got too hot, and then came back and cooled off in one of the pools. There is also an Aquapark right on site which all the children loved, and if they are happy, we are happy.
The rooms were all well furnished with light wood furniture and clean wooden floors which were kept spotless by our maid. Our room had a balcony which was not very child-safe especially with toddlers, as the bars had wide gaps. We had satellite TV and a safe and really could not complain about anything. I tried out all the facilities while I was there – the gym, the casino, and all the pools which were great.
Breakfast was excellent and the buffet of mezzes and salads in the evening was quite delicious and very professionally done. The waiters and staff made us very welcome, especially our little boy, and we can't wait to go back again.
Liked — The Aquapark
Disliked — The balcony was unsafe for small children
