Mountain View Hotel Review - 3 of 27 Reviews

I've been retired for five years, and enjoy travelling. I was told Kyrenia is a beautiful place to visit. I was in North Cyprus for a week, but the time seemed to fly by. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. The staff was warm and kind. For a lonely guy it was nice to feel at home during my trip. The staff cleaned my room each day, cleaning it well. The hotel is not a five star location, but 3 solid stars. The rooms are a little rundown, but for the cost you can't beat it. I've some food restrictions, but the chef was happy to make meals that fit within my diet.

The televisions in the rooms worked. There were also televisions in the bar and restaurant. I spent time in the bar during the day and evenings. There was only one issue I had with the hotel. They had dogs. I do not like dogs, even if they were friendly. In fact I would say they were too friendly. From the hotel I was able to view the mountains and jungle. It added a lovely atmosphere to the pool area. The value of the hotel room was perfect, even on my retire salary. I would recommend this hotel to others. Next year I am already planning a trip back despite the dogs. It was such a nice home away from home that I felt more than welcome, and they are one of the only hotels who will accommodate my special needs regarding food.
