I got a fantastic half board deal through GoNorthCyprus.com, staying at the Mountain View Hotel. I spoke to Gary, one of the agents, who gave me some great advice about where to stay based on my family's needs. The Mountain View Hotel was a good choice for us because it is set aside from the hustle and bustle of Kyrenia and has gorgeous views. I wouldn't say it was the perfect place for people with small children.

Our room at the Mountain View was immaculately clean and well presented and the mountain views were breathtaking. We literally heard no noise from our room whilst there; it was so peaceful!

Although the hotel is quite far from Kyrenia, the local bus service is really reliable and if in a rush, the taxis are quite cheap anyway! We didn't ever pay more than a fiver for our taxi rides. There were also some lovely walks to go on, with different difficulty levels.

The food at the Mountain View Hotel was fresh and tasty although the choice wasn't fantastic. We can't really complain though as what we paid for the hotel was amazing considering it was during school holidays. Saying this, there was always an option for me even though I'm vegetarian and this is often something which gets overlooked.

The staff at the Mountain View were really friendly and on a couple of occasions we spent the evening chatting with the owners like we'd known them for years. They seemed to be equally as friendly with their others guests which shows how committed to their hotel they are.
