“Lovely hotel, good food, good service but expensive drinks”

Lovely hotel, good food, good service but drinks so expensive. We spent more time out of the hotel in other nearby restaurants and bars where we could both eat and drink for the evening for less than the cost of 1 bottle of wine from the hotel.

The facilities were excellent, the rooms were lovely and the standard of service was very good.

As it was early in the season there was a little bit of cosmetic improvements being carried out. The small paddling pool was being tiled during the whole time we were there and there was nose from the tilers early each morning as our room was close by, but not bad enough to request a move.

Overall we were very pleased with our stay. I would only return with children if the drink prices were reduced.
