We have just returned from another wonderful holiday at the Malpas Hotel in Kyrenia. We had been last year, and I think it is even better this year. The staff are truly wonderful and make sure that everything is absolutely perfect for you. The hotel is impressive and from the moment you step into the huge marble-tiled lobby you know you are going to have a wonderful stay. Each room is bright and modern and the bathrooms are to die for! We had a balcony overlooking the pool and it was just perfect.

There is so much to enjoy at the hotel, we hardly had any time to see the local sights. The food at every meal is a culinary delight, and the chefs truly know how to present everything, especially on the buffets. I loved having a coffee in the patisserie. I can also recommend the rooftop terrace dining under the stars for a memorable evening. While we were there, a couple got married in the church and had a wonderful reception with their close family and friends. It was the perfect setting for a wedding, a honeymoon, or both!

The only slight disadvantage is that the hotel is not right on the beach, although the huge pool areas are gorgeous. If you want the sand-between-your-toes experience, you have to catch the shuttle bus or walk down to the private beach, although it is worth the effort, as like everywhere here, the scenery is just beautiful. I can't say enough about this wonderful hotel, except to say go and enjoy it for yourself.
