Long Beach Resort Hotel Review - 3 of 21 Reviews

My partner and I booked a fairly last minute break to Famagusta, staying at the Long Beach Hotel Resort. We booked through Go North Cyprus Holidays company and got a fantastic deal. We weren't looking for anything special in terms of our hotel- just somewhere relaxing and cultural but we stumbled across an absolute gem and will definitely be coming back!

For starters, I cannot believe how close to the beach our hotel was! To be able to get out of bed every day and stumble onto a peaceful beach, with pure sand and clear waters was heavenly. The hotel is situated in a wonderfully historic town, which has been unspoilt by tourism. It also has some really scenic views, with plenty of opportunities for walks and for exploring.

All of the staff at the Long Beach Resort were friendly and helpful, from the cleaners to the waiting staff. Ahmet, who worked on reception, was particularly excellent, going out of his way to tell us about the local area.

We really enjoyed the food at the Long Beach Resort. Breakfast provided us with a wonderful selection and the evening meals were really authentic and tasty. The hotel restaurant has a lovely relaxing ambience.

The hotel pool was huge and so very clean; there was plenty of space around it to sunbathe without feeling like others guests were on top of you. We only had two days where it was really warm enough to sunbathe but there was plenty of other things to do on the days where it was a little cooler.

All in all, this was one of the best holidays we've had and the hotel had a lot to do with it!
